In his practice, Matyáš advises financial institutions (alternative funds, bureaux de change, issuers), FinTech companies and other blockchain-based projects, including in the context of financial market regulation, investment services and investment structures.

He specialises in financial market regulation, collective investment, AML/CFT, crypto-assets and related legal and regulatory issues.

In the AML/CFT field he also works as a professional lecturer and regularly gives lectures and training, in particular to financial institutions, fund managers and administrators, developers, virtual asset service providers, tax advisers, accountants and auditors.

Matyáš also handles litigation and represents clients in court disputes and in proceedings before regulatory authorities, in particular the Czech National Bank (CNB) and the Financial Analytical Office (FAÚ).

Besides law he is engaged in information technology and is a co-founder of AML solutions s.r.o., a company focused on AML/CFT compliance and operating the PEP check software.
